HS SYSTEM – HIGH STRENGTH FULL-BATTEN SYSTEM

By ANTAL

The HS System (High Strength) is specifically designed for full-batten mainsails subjected to high luff loads. It combines a tubular track with cars that slide on high-resistance composite fiber pads for optimal durability and performance.

Key Features

High-Strength Composite Fiber Sliders
Made from low-friction resin reinforced with composite fibers, these sliders ensure exceptional resistance to load and torsion.

Compact & Efficient Design
The strength of HS fiber allows for shorter, more compact cars, reducing weight without compromising performance.

Low Friction Under Load
Provides smoother sail operation compared to traditional nylon sliders.

Minimal Maintenance
Unlike ball-bearing systems, HS sliders require little upkeep, making them ideal for long-distance
cruising and demanding conditions.

Quick Installation & Removal
Cars can be easily removed and reinstalled on the track for rapid sail changes.

Sail Integration

Universal Batten Joint System
Each batten connects to a car using a gimbal-mounted threaded fitting, allowing flexible alignment. Compatible with both round and flat batten boxes.

Intermediate Cars
Positioned between battens, these are secured via lashing to maintain luff tension and shape.

Headboard Connection
A lashed headboard connects to a double, triple, or quadruple headboard car using a removable pin, ensuring secure attachment to the halyard and mast.

Applications

Ideal for performance cruisers, multihulls, and yachts with large mainsails where durability, efficiency, and safety are key.
