WINCH XT ELECTRIC VERSION 12 AND 24 VOLTS (EH12, EH24)-ANTAL

All Antal winches, from XT40 to XT76.3, can be motorised. All electric winches are available not only with a chrome-plated headstock, but also with an aluminium headstock
"AISI 316 stainless steel (except XT44).

HORIZONTAL (EH) OR VERTICAL (EV) MOTORS: all these winches can be fitted with horizontal motors and worm gear speed reducers. Larger models can be supplied with a vertical motor using a high-efficiency epicycloidal speed reducer. Both systems have been developed to minimise space requirements and minimise noise levels during operation.

MANUAL OPERATION: simply place the crank handle in its housing to disengage the gear motor unit.

GREATER SAFETY: if the motor is accidentally switched on, the manual mode of the winch is not affected, preventing dangerous rotation of the crank handle.

INCREASED EFFICIENCY: in manual mode, the motor-gearbox assembly is not driven, avoiding any unnecessary friction.

SPEEDS: electric winches maintain both speeds in manual operation (by reversing the direction of rotation of the crank) and in electric operation (by simply pressing one or other of the switches). It is essential to be able to select the most appropriate speed for the manoeuvre at any time. It is then possible to quickly feed in the first lengths of rope and make finer adjustments in the final phase. Electric winches rotate at higher speeds than manual winches. The haul-in speed shown in the table is measured without load. Reduce this value by 30% to find the haul-in speed under maximum load.

LOADS, POWER AND SPEED: The winch's tensile load, the motor's current (Ampere) and the speed at which the rope is recovered are related according to the graphs obtained by experimentation following the load and speed tests carried out for each winch model. This clearly shows the maximum load values for high and low gears, depending on recovery speed and maximum electrical current.
WINCH XT HYDRAULIC VERSION (HD)-ANTAL

The hydraulic drive can be fitted to all Antal winches from XT44 to XT80. Hydraulic pressure varies from 100 to 120 bar for the larger models. The connection is made with a 3/8" diameter hose. All hydraulic winches are available not only with a chrome-plated headstock, but also with a 'reinforced' aluminium headstock with a high-strength alloy or AISI 316 stainless steel gear ring. Simply inserting the crank into its housing is enough to disengage the gear motor unit.

 ROPE SPEED
The rope speed is indicated without load on the rope and considering the lowest flow rate indicated on the tables. The actual speed must be defined according to the actual size of my hydraulic power unit.

 HYDRAULIC POWER PACK
The power units are sized according to the specific characteristics of each boat. The speed of the winch is proportional to the flow from the power unit, and the load on the winch is proportional to the pressure in the power unit. The hydraulic power unit must be able to turn several winches at the same time, and must guarantee an equivalent flow for all the winches in simultaneous use. The flow and pressure levels given for each winch must not be exceeded. All models are supplied with Danfoss OMR series hydraulic motors.
