There are 3 series of standard winches: 1-speed direct winches, compact and efficient models for boats up to 6-7 m, 2-speed winches, direct and geared: intermediate size models for boats up to 9-10 m, 2-speed geared winches, medium and large size models for boats up to 12-13 m. XT Self-tailing winches are available in 3 versions: black hard anodised aluminium ( AL ), chrome plated ( CH ) and Race ( R ).
