The Antal XT Race series is the result of a radical weight-saving optimization of the classic XT range. Specifically designed for competitive sailing, it offers significant weight reduction and exceptional rotation smoothness through the use of high-tech materials.

High-Tech Engineering and Materials

Every component of the XT Race winch has been lightened without compromising strength:

  • Central Shaft: Made of hard-anodized aluminum for maximum weight savings.
  • High-Performance Bearings: Features bearing cages with Peek rollers (ultra-resistant semi-crystalline thermoplastic).
  • Optimized Transmission: Xantal alloy gears mounted on low-friction axes with hard PVD treatment and anti-corrosion isolation rings.
  • CNC Base: Machined using Computer Numeric Control, the base is lighter and stronger than traditional cast aluminum.

XT Race winches are available in various speed configurations:

  • 1 Reduced Speed: XT16R and 30R models for direct power.
  • 2 Reduced Speeds: The standard racing range (from XT16.2R to XT70R).
  • 3 Speeds (Direct or Reduced): XT52.3RD and XT62.3R models for extreme versatility under heavy load.

Easy Maintenance: On-water maintenance is a breeze. The mechanism can be easily removed without dismantling the base, ensuring total reliability throughout your racing season.
