PROTECTION OF HOLLOW PROPS



Typical applications:

Protection of hollow plastic, composite or metal props against heavy abrasion generated by spinnaker manoeuvres and gennaker-type headsails during tack changes.



Technical specifications:

Pressure sensitive adhesive combining special polymer fi lms (UHMWPE) with a high tack adhesive. The standard PHB (black) and PHT (translucent) products with acrylic adhesive are designed for boats up to 40', while PHP - High Performance (light grey) with silicone adhesive is recommended for larger units or whenever greater strength is required.

The difference between these products lies in the polymers used, the types of adhesive and temperature resistance.

Protective film thickness: 250μ.

The products are easy to use and apply, as they are already cut to fit the sizes of the hollow prop systems. Custom sizes can be made on request.
