The JR line is the latest addition from Antal, developed from the advancement of the W-ST-XT-XTR lines.

With JR winches a new limit of the state of the art has been settled. Expecially with the Race version, a complete carbon fibre structure has been developed which drastically reduce the weight, maintaining the same SWL and efficiency of the aluminium version.

Gear ratios, line speed and resulting power ratios have been assessed according to the usage requirements of each individual model. The JR winch range covers a wide load capacity, from 2300 kg to 14500 kg, meeting the needs of boats of all sizes, both racing and cruising.

The design and development of the JR line find their highest expression in the full carbon version, which enhances its features of power and lightness. For the first time in the the world, the winch’s structural components are made of carbon fiber, allowing for significant weight savings. Even in the all-alluminium version, the JR line winches ensure extremely high performances.

To meet the needs of even the most demanding sailors, the JR line will soon offer the option of customize your own winch in a hybrid configuration.
The additional innovations also extend to the sheet lead color: titanium or black are now available alongside the satin stainless steel version In addition, upon request it is possible to choose the winch rotation direction, allowing for full 360° customization

The JR winches can be provided in various configurations, according to the different need of the boat. With the flush deck configuration the line entry height can be slightly reduced maintaining the same SWL and almost the same weight of the std. version 
The winches of the JR line are designed for both manual and electro-hydraulic operation. In the latter case, various solutions are available with vertical or horizontal installation, at different voltage levels (24 V, 48 V), or hydraulic.

Concerning electric motorization, a smart system will be available soon which, with the adoption of brushless motors @48V, will let an easy control of winches speed and load with both direct and remote control by the helmsman.
