Increased resistance to impact and abrasion

Discover Shock protection, an evolution of the Chafe model, specially designed to offer effective defence against abrasion and violent impacts.

This self-adhesive product combines the properties of an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) film and an aliphatic polyurethane (PU) resin, guaranteeing long-lasting, high-performance protection.



Technical characteristics of Shock films :

The polyurethane resin is applied between the Chafe film and a modified acrylic adhesive, protected by a brown silicone backing. This makes it easy to handle, cut and apply.

Shock films are available in two main thicknesses: 250μ and 500μ, ideal for protecting surfaces against damage caused by fittings (blocks, shackles, carabiners).

PSX: an innovative version of Shock, designed with a lightweight, flexible honeycomb film that absorbs impacts by spreading the shock over a wider area.

Shield: a high-quality polyurethane adhesive film, specially developed to protect surfaces exposed to impact, scratching and rubbing.

Transparent and glossy, it offers exceptional resistance, even in extreme weather conditions. It will not crack, shrink or yellow over time.



Shock, PSX and Shield Shock product range:

Available in black (PSB) or translucent (PST), with 4 thicknesses of Chafe film: 76μ, 125μ, 250μ, and 500μ.

PSX: Available in black, with 2 thicknesses of Chafe film: 250μ and 500μ.
