How It Works

The hatch body (gasket) is permanently mounted to the hull. An A.338 O-ring is seated around the gasket, beneath the retaining lip, creating a compression seal along the external diameter. The lid is then threaded and screwed down tightly, forming a watertight barrier around the outer edge of the hatch.
This external sealing design ensures superior protection against spray, rain, and immersion — ideal for exposed deck installations.
