The Antal XT40.2R is a flagship of the Race series for 33 to 40-foot sailboats. Designed to meet the demands of IRC racing and one-design classes, this model combines an ultra-lightweight structure with a dual reduced-speed transmission.
Every component of the XT40.2R is weight-optimized to ensure minimal mass without sacrificing workload capacity. The hard-anodized black aluminum drum provides aggressive grip and maximum heat resistance during rapid spinnaker or genoa maneuvers.
Featuring two reduced gear ratios, this winch allows for precise tension management. The first gear ensures fast take-up, while the second gear (40:1) enables millimeter-perfect halyard or sheet adjustments, even in heavy air.
The high-resistance fixed composite stripper arm guarantees perfect line guiding. The auto-adaptive mechanism accepts a wide range of technical lines (Dyneema, Vectran) from 8 to 12 mm, ensuring total safety and holding power.
