The Antal XT52.2R winch is the preferred equipment for 46 to 52-foot racing yachts. Part of the Race series, this model stands as one of the most powerful in its class, delivering a 52:1 ratio while maintaining an exceptionally low weight on deck.
Precision-machined from high-strength aluminum alloy, the drum is hollowed out to minimize rotational inertia. The black hard-anodized finish ensures long-lasting protection against abrasion from technical lines and marine corrosion.
The XT52.2R offers two reduced gear ratios. This configuration allows for handling heavy loads, such as large genoa sheets or spinnaker halyards, with a 52:1 force in second gear for millimetric trimming.
The Antal self-tailing system automatically adjusts to rope diameters (8 to 14 mm). Its specific design guarantees immediate grip and fluid release, major assets during mark roundings and fast tactical maneuvers.
