The Antal XT62.3R winch redefines performance standards for 52 to 60-foot sailboats. By integrating a third direct speed, this Race series model allows crews to transition from ultra-fast line recovery to massive pulling power without compromise.
The major innovation lies in its direct drive (1:1), enabling instantaneous line recovery. Two additional reduced gears take over to handle increasing loads up to the final 62:1 ratio, providing total control throughout the maneuver.
The hard-anodized black aluminum drum is hollowed out to minimize rotational inertia. The internal mechanics, featuring high-strength steel and bronze gears, are engineered to withstand extreme offshore racing tensions while maintaining smoothness.
The auto-adaptive self-tailing system accommodates technical ropes from 10 to 16 mm. The Race stripper arm ensures fluid line passage, essential during gybes and headsail changes on large vessels.
